FIRE SAFETY AWARENESS COURSE

This 3 hour course is designed to provide an understanding in basic fire awareness and is appropriate for anyone employed in any environment where there is a chance of an outbreak of fire. This training course is delivered in accordance with the new Fire Safety Law 2006 requirements and assists any employer in achieving compliance with that law.

The course includes theory and practical sessions where attendees acquire experience in the use of fire extinguishers. The course can be delivered here at Fire Security, or at your premises if more convenient.

The Course includes:

• How to identify the correct extinguisher, including the colour classifications.
• How to select the correct extinguisher, dependent on the classification of fire, and use it safely
• Practical, hand on experience in the use of live extinguishers in a safe and controlled environment.

Successful completion of this course will result in a certificate of competence.
